Karen is local woodwind teacher with over 20 years
experience and a busy teaching practice. She plays
clarinet, flute and saxophone to high standards and
also plays in The Starlight Swing Orchestra, a big
band based in Chorley. Karen also does most of the
arranging for the ensemble.
Bernadette is a primary
school teacher specialising in music and is also a
busy peripatetic woodwind teacher working for both
Lancashire and Stockport Education Authorities. She
has over 20 years experience and plays clarinet,
flute and saxophone to high standards. She plays
flute with La flute harmonique.
Nichola is a university
student. She is a very versatile and experienced
musician, playing saxophone, clarinet and cello to
high standards. She has experience of playing in
all types of ensemble ranging from concert bands to
swing bands and also string orchestras and
quartets.
Yvonne is a university student reading education and music. She is an experienced player and has played with many ensembles. She plays clarinet, saxophone and piano all to high standards.
Katy is a student and has had plenty of experience of ensemble playing ranging from clarinet choirs to concert bands and orchestras. She plays the clarinet and piano to high standards.
